The Covid-19 Pandemic has been a scary time for all of us. But, it has been an especially scary and lonely time for seniors and shut-ins. This month, The Coard Foundation voted to show them they have not been forgotten … that they are loved, appreciated and remembered. This month we distributed 20 Care Packages to Seniors and Shut ins in the Boykins area. The packages included prayer cloths from Boykins United Methodist Church, reading materials from Boykins Baptist Church, hand-crafted face-masks donated by a company in Franklin, toilet paper, paper towels, soap donated by Victoria Edwards, hand sanitizer, a houseplant donated by Cann Farms and other gifts donated by Whittington Station, Eric and Sandy Coard and The Coard Foundation.
